Why Are Blogs So Important?

All this talk about Taking Inspired Action to accomplish your dream can be a bit confusing without a good explanation of exactly what that means. We all know that “Action” means the state or process of acting or doing, organized activity to accomplish an objective. “Inspired” is based on intuition rather than logical deduction.

Times are hard. Gas prices are high and making ends meet can be a struggle. What’s personal intrest the solution? Take a vacation; on a smaller scale. Sure, Jamaica is beautiful this time of year, but if that’s out of your reach, take off a Monday and Friday and treat yourself to a night out on the town and a hotel stay. Visit a local hiking trail or tourist attraction in your city. It doesn’t take much to enjoy yourself in your city with a mini-vacation.

I love to read, and I have my list of favorite authors: Jane Austen, Alexandre Dumas, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Anne Perry and so on. I use them for inspiration daily, highlighting favorite lines in a book, taking their quotes and posting them near my computer, and re-reading favorite chapters for the 100th time. This isn’t a huge issue for me but at the same time it is. Superbot is a bit expensive, at $44 I want to be able to do almost everything. Any mediocre software of this magnitude should at least allow me to do more than one thing at a time.

But Twitter and Facebook are fun. If a blogger is writing for fun, the allure of Twitter and Facebook is obvious. Getting a huge following is often just a matter of asking.
